I wrote dem legs.
Its a bit odd that they describe the humour as "Pythonesque". Puckoon was written in 1963, when the Monty Python had not yet formed themselves. Perhaps Monty Python's work should be described as Puckoonery. ![]()
I whole-heartedly agree. I think the 'pythonesque' reference was made by a critic who was not well-versed in Milligan and was struggling for a word to describe what we'd just subjected her to.
